Visiting Artist - Lauren T Kistner
What's in the Gallery Now?
I have always loved Lauren's work so I asked if she would be willing to allow me to display and sell it for her. Of course she said yes to her Florida "debut."
Do you love Lauren's style by don't see the one you want? There are more available, let's get you connected!

Born and raised in Idaho, Lauren T. Kistner developed a deep fascination with geothermal activities, topography and other natural phenomena. Idaho’s varied landscapes are as inspiring as they are unique. Lauren willingly takes any dirt road before her to discover the secrets nature holds. In her artistic process, she is motivated by line, color, and texture, and the ambiguity between looking and seeing. She explores and alters images for the canvas in an intuitive process that involves layers of paint to achieve ridges, ripples, peaks and valleys, then transparency, depth, and color. From building the panels to the final layers of paint, her creative act is merely to set the paintings in motion. They are about innocence, growth, imperfection and contentment.
In 2005, Lauren received a BFA in Painting and Photography at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington, and has been actively researching and exploring her career for over 9 years. Her paintings have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, including Gallery 154, Wiseman Gallery, and the Modern Art Event. Her works can be found in private and public collections across the U.S.
