Rody Xavier was born September 16 , 1981 in Haiti MontRouis. He began creating art at 10 years old without any lessons. Completely self taught, he joined the art center in October 2000 where he graduated four years later. In 2006, Rody participated in the National Exposition and was named one of the 10 best artists in Haiti in 2009. He specializes in paintings that draw from his heritage. The paintings he creates give many a nostalgic feeling and truly capture the essence of Haiti... giving us all a little piece of paradise.

After working for Gallery Nader in Port-au-Prince he began to work for a big collector in Haiti and Colorado. Rody also designed every room in the Club Indigo and the Royal Decameron Hotels in Haiti. In 2020, Rody moved to Key West, Florida and began selling his work with Damon Designs.
